Swiss pairings Evening at Rugeley

On Thursday 14th a swiss manager evening was run at the Rugeley Chess Club. Two of our members came along as well as being joined by a number of players from Crewe chess club.

The lecturer was our own Matthew Carr and he took the participants through the basics of setting up swiss manager files for tournaments, entering players and results, publishing and rating an event using the software.

The participants said they enjoyed the talk and had an enjoyable evening.
